I have restarted development work on MyBW, and the source code is being rewritten from scratch as a CMS.

The new design of joecotton.co.uk is a cross link with the design i did for JCKD. I’m still working on a custom backend control panel to add clients, portfolio images and projects to the labs.
I will soon be starting work on a number of new projects including VMware VPS control panel called VMA (VM Admin) and a Operating System written from scratch for Web Servers (IOS). More information on both projects can be found on the projects page.

In around 2 weeks time, I will be uploading a new design for this site, and changing the purpose of it from a blog, to more of a portfolio with a blog.
I have had an idea for a new website but I need help with a name… I’ll think a bit longer, developing the site under a temporary name on my dev servers…

Blender
I am saving my money to build a hackintosh pro: just a PC with Mac OS X installed on it. It is planned to have a 3GHz Intel Dual Core CPU, 8GB RAM, 1TB Hard Drive 2 graphics cards powering 3 21″ monitors.
I am going to use Blender on my new hackintosh to make 3-D drawings, animation and eventually full 3D computer games for Mac and PC. Sound good huh?
Well its going to be a long journey, its not going to be easy…
Blender is free 3-D animation and drawing software. I suggest you check it out

How to build a hovercraft
At my school, we are building a 1-man ride on hovercraft . I joined the after school club serveral months ago, although the initial project was started about 4 years ago. In time I will upload some pictures of the hovercraft .
There are still many jobs to do, including:
• Fitting the exhaust
• Wiring the throttle
• And more…
The most recent job that was done was that we fitted the engine into the main body of the hovercraft.
We are looking to finish it in a couple of weeks/months…

Server Update
My server is now finished, after ebuyer sent me the wrong CPU for the motherboard, even though they advised me that it was all compatable. So now the server is running windows xp temporarily, until I buy some more CD’s, with the latest version of Xampp, which I must point out, supports PHP, Perl, Pear and ASP.
The current server specs are:
• 3.0GHz AMD Phenom ii CPU
• 4GB RAM
• 750GB SATA Hard Drive
• 1Gbs Ethernet card
• 4U rackmount server case
